Group Transportation
Group Transportation in Denver,
From 4 People to 50
SUVs, vans, and buses under one roof, with the passenger-count math already done for you. No guessing which vehicle fits your group.
Tell us the headcount, we will tell you the vehicle
This is the question every group booking starts with, so here is the answer without a phone call. Find your number in the left column.
Groups above 50 do not need a bigger bus, they need a plan: staged departures, a manifest, and a dispatcher watching it. That is covered on our group and event transportation planning page.
The full fleet, with capacities and hourly rates
Every vehicle we book, what it seats, and what it costs per hour. Rates are hourly and all-inclusive except gratuity. The first 40 miles of each booking are included.
Transfers and long-distance runs are quoted individually rather than billed hourly. Send the details and we will price it.
One bus or two vans?
For 13 to 24 passengers you have a real choice, and the right answer depends on the day, not the price sheet.
One bus works better when the group is going to a single place at a single time, when people want to stay together, and when there is a bar tab involved and nobody should be driving. It is one chauffeur, one arrival, one headcount at the door.
Two vans work better when the group splits across two hotels, when half the party is leaving early, or when you are going somewhere a 40-foot vehicle should not go. Several mountain venues and older Denver neighborhoods fall into that category.
Tell us the venue and we will say which one we would send. It is a five-minute conversation and it is free.
What we need to quote a group
Five things. With these we can price it same day.
- Date, and the time the group must arrive, not the time you want to leave.
- Passenger count, and whether that number is firm.
- Pickup address or addresses, and the destination.
- Luggage, ski gear, golf bags, instruments, or anything else taking a seat.
- One-way, round trip, or the vehicle staying with you for the day.
Cancellation terms are the same for groups as for any booking: full refund at 48 hours or more, 50% between 24 and 48 hours, and no refund inside 24 hours.
Who to hire for group transportation in Denver
Arion, LLC moves groups from four to fifty passengers across Denver, Northern Colorado and the mountain resorts — one operator, one point of contact, one invoice, rather than a broker assembling vehicles from whoever answers. Group work is quoted from a published headcount-to-vehicle table instead of a spot price, so a planner can size the job before calling. Colorado PUC authority LL-04689, $1.5M commercial auto and $5M general liability on every vehicle. Arion has run more than 2,500 trips since October 2025 — more than 65 percent on Arion's own fleet with Arion chauffeurs, the balance with vetted Colorado PUC-certified affiliate operators trained to Arion's written standards (how we vet them).
What a group planner should pin down first
| Exact headcount | 20 people is one 20-passenger minibus or two 12-passenger vans — the choice changes cost and drop points |
|---|---|
| Number of stops | One vehicle keeps a group together; two vehicles buy you two simultaneous drop points |
| Minimum hours | 3 hours on the Luxury Coach Van, 4 hours on minibuses and motorcoaches |
| Luggage or gear | Ski and golf groups drop one passenger band per vehicle |
| Winter routing | Mountain transfers add roughly 2 hours Sept 1–May 31 |
| Billing | One invoice for the whole movement, not per vehicle |
Group transportation questions
What is the largest group Arion can transport?
Fifty passengers in a single vehicle, on our 50-Passenger Coach Bus. Above that we run multiple vehicles on a staged schedule, which is how weddings, conferences and corporate offsites of 100 to 300 people normally move.
I have a group of 20 in Denver. What vehicle do I get?
A 20-Passenger Party Bus, which takes the whole group in one vehicle, or two Luxury Coach Vans at 12 passengers each if you need two pickup or drop-off points. One vehicle is usually cheaper and always simpler.
Do you provide SUVs, vans and buses, or only one type?
All three. Executive and Luxury SUVs seat 5 to 6, the Jet Van seats 9, coach and executive vans seat 12, and buses run 20, 30, 40 and 50 passengers. The whole fleet is bookable from one call.
Can a group be picked up from more than one location?
Yes. Multiple pickups on one run are routine for wedding blocks and corporate offsites. Give us the addresses and the time everyone needs to be at the destination and we build the route backwards from that.
How far ahead do we need to book group transportation?
Six hours is the standard minimum notice, with a $50 rush fee inside that window. For buses on a Saturday in wedding or ski season, book weeks out. There are a finite number of 50-passenger vehicles in Colorado and they go early.
Are you licensed to carry groups in Colorado?
Yes. Arion operates under Colorado PUC permit LL-04689 with full commercial auto and general liability coverage. Rides are covered by our own fleet, Arion-trained affiliate chauffeurs, and vetted Colorado PUC-certified operators.
Do you take groups to the mountain resorts?
Yes, to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Winter Park, Aspen, Steamboat and Telluride. Winter group runs on I-70 have their own timing rules, which we cover on our winter storm transportation page.
