About Arion
Women-Owned Luxury Transportation
Rooted in Denver. Built on Care.
Our Story
Before Arion ever had a fleet, there was a simple realization that changed everything for us.
Christal Becker—our Founder, CEO and President, spent more than two decades working with children and families — including high-risk and special-needs children, as an educator, foster parent, and business owner. Fields where you show up for people during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Through all of it, one thing stayed constant: how you make someone feel matters more than anything else you do.
She brought that standard into this industry as Chief Operating Officer of Luxury Rides Online — reservations, dispatch, driver coordination, customer service, vehicle utilization, training, budgeting, and affiliate relationships — and guided that company through disruption, recovery, expansion, and eventual acquisition. Today she leads Arion's strategy, service standards, financial planning, regulatory compliance, and business development.
When we started Arion, we didn't set out to build a transportation company. We set out to build a company that treats every single person who walks through our doors, or into one of our vehicles, like they genuinely matter. Because they do.
Jim Becker—our Director of Operations and Client Experiences, brings 25 years of experience across the Navy, tech consulting, entrepreneurship, and luxury transportation. A submarine veteran who spent 16 years in management consulting and three years as a policy analyst for the State of Colorado, Jim founded his own luxury transportation company in 2017 and grew it over eight years to a 4,000-client book of business and more than 12,000 trips a year across land, air, and sea, generating $1.4M in annual revenue. When that company was acquired in 2025, he brought that people-first philosophy to Arion. Jim wrote our 70-page chauffeur training handbook from scratch — grounded in interpersonal communication theory, not just driving procedures — because he believes our drivers deserve real training and our clients deserve someone who genuinely cares behind the wheel.
Together, we're a small team on purpose. We answer our own phones. We remember your kids' names, your favorite airport pickup spot, and that you prefer sparkling over still. We're not trying to compete with the big dispatch services. We're building something different — a company where being small is the whole point, because it means we never lose sight of the person in the back seat.
Why People Stay
We hear it all the time: "I've never had a car service actually care before."
That's not a tagline — it's what happens when you stop treating transportation like a commodity and start treating it like hospitality. When a bride's timeline shifts by an hour, we don't charge her extra. When a family lands at DIA after a red-eye with cranky toddlers, we have water bottles, phone chargers, and a warm smile waiting. When a corporate client needs an NDA signed before we'll even confirm the booking? Done. No questions.
Every chauffeur on our team goes through annual ice driving training, state background checks, DOT compliance, and defensive driving certification. We carry commercial liability coverage well past the state minimum — not because the state requires it, but because you shouldn't have to worry about a thing once you're in our care.
And the concierge stuff? Restaurant reservations, activity bookings, custom charcuterie boards, champagne on ice, itinerary planning for your whole Colorado trip, we do it because we love it, and because that's what it means to actually take care of someone.
What Sets Us Apart
Boutique, Not Corporate
We know your name, your preferences, and your schedule. Every ride is personalized, not dispatched from a call center. When you call Arion, you get us. Not a recording. Not a dispatcher who's never met you. Us.
Safety Without Compromise
Ice-trained drivers, DOT compliance, defensive driving certification, state background checks, and full commercial liability coverage. Every vehicle is ASE-maintained and mountain-ready, because Colorado roads demand it.
Concierge-Level Care
We've booked last-minute dinner reservations at 9 PM on a Saturday, arranged surprise champagne setups for anniversaries, and built full-day mountain itineraries — all before our client even asked. That's just how we're wired.
What women-owned means in practice
Plenty of companies list a certification and move on. Ours changes how the work actually gets done.
For our corporate and university clients, Arion’s women-owned status counts toward supplier diversity goals — the paperwork, the W-9, the COI, the NDA, all of it turned around same-day so procurement never has to chase us.
For the woman flying into DIA alone at 11 PM, it means a chauffeur who texts a photo and plate number before wheels-down, waits at the curb rather than in the lot, and stays until the front door closes behind her. That protocol exists because the people who wrote it have needed it themselves.
And it means decisions get made by two people you can reach. No regional manager, no escalation queue, Christal owns strategy and the client experience, Jim owns operations, and both numbers are on this website.
Colorado, specifically
We’re based on the Front Range and we drive it in every season — I-70 at 6 AM on a powder day, Loveland Pass when the tunnel closes, the two-lane run into Estes when Trail Ridge fills with elk traffic. Our chauffeurs re-certify on ice every year and our SUVs run winter tires from October through May.
That local knowledge is the part you can’t buy from a national booking platform: knowing which DIA door to use for a 7 AM departure, which Red Rocks lot empties fastest after an encore, and how much cushion a February drive to Vail really needs.
Small on purpose
We’ve been offered the path to 50 vehicles and a call center. We passed.
Growth here means depth, not headcount: a deeper client file, a tighter training standard, a chauffeur bench we can vouch for individually. Christal reads every piece of client feedback that comes in. Jim personally trains every chauffeur against the 70-page handbook he wrote — built on interpersonal communication theory, not just driving procedure.
The trade-off is honest: we book out, and on some dates we say no rather than hand you off to a vehicle we don’t control. That’s the version of luxury we’re willing to stand behind.

Frequently Asked Questions
How are Arion chauffeurs screened and trained?
Every chauffeur passes a criminal background check, MVR review, and drug testing, then trains against Arion's written Driver Excellence Manual and SOP covering ice driving, airport procedure, passenger assistance, and discretion — with annual recertification.
What insurance and licensing does Arion carry?
Colorado PUC authority as a certificated passenger carrier, fully insured on every vehicle and every trip. Certificates of insurance are available for venues and corporate vendor onboarding.
Do you offer point-to-point trips as well as hourly service?
Both. Point-to-point is priced for a single transfer such as home to DEN or hotel to a venue. Hourly (as-directed) service keeps the same chauffeur and vehicle for dinners, meetings, tours, and multi-stop nights.
Can I set up a recurring or corporate account?
Yes. Recurring commuters, executive assistants, hotels, and event planners get a standing profile with preferred vehicle, saved addresses, consolidated monthly invoicing, and priority dispatch.
Are your chauffeurs local?
Yes. Arion's chauffeurs live and drive here, Denver one-ways, I-70 and I-25 timing, canyon roads, resort access, and DEN's arrival flow are learned routes, not GPS guesses.
Is Arion licensed and insured?
Yes. Arion, LLC is a Colorado PUC-certified passenger carrier operating as Arion Transportation and Tours. Every vehicle and every trip is fully insured, well beyond what a rideshare driver carries.
How much does Arion cost per hour?
Rates are hourly and per vehicle, not per person: Executive Sedan from $150/hr, Executive SUV from $125/hr, Luxury SUV from $150/hr, and group vehicles (Luxury Coach Van, Executive/Jet Van, buses) from $250/hr. Hourly minimums apply by vehicle, hourly trips include up to 40 total miles of travel per booking, and your exact total is shown before you confirm.
Are there hidden fees or surge pricing?
No. Arion does not surge for holidays, ski season, concert nights, or storms. Trips that exceed 40 total miles add a per-vehicle mileage charge, and that is calculated and displayed before you book. Gratuity is not included and is always at your discretion.
What is Arion's cancellation policy?
Cancel 48 or more hours before pickup for a full refund. Cancellations 24 to 48 hours before pickup receive a 50% refund. Inside 24 hours there is no refund, and no-shows are non-refundable. Tours require 7 days' notice. Documented medical emergencies and weather or venue closures are reviewed case by case.
How to Judge a Chauffeur Company
Star counts are easy to accumulate. These are the numbers that are hard to fake.
Operating record
More than 2,500 completed trips, 10,556 passengers carried, 579,878 miles driven, and zero accidents. More than 65% of those trips were run on Arion’s own fleet with Arion chauffeurs; the balance went to vetted Colorado PUC-certified affiliate operators trained to Arion’s written standards (how we vet them).
Private Loyalty Rate — 51%
51% of Arion clients book us again, and those repeat clients account for 79% of our revenue. Clients of private chauffeured service rarely publish where they went or who they traveled with, and we never ask them to — so we measure loyalty instead of applause. Read how we handle client discretion and privacy.
Credentials and coverage
Colorado PUC authority LL-04689, fully insured on every vehicle and every trip, with chauffeurs background-checked, drug-tested and trained to our own written standards. See safety and licensing.
