Our Story

Before Arion ever had a fleet, there was a simple realization that changed everything for us.

Christal Becker spent over 30 years working in child care, facility management, foster care, and nonprofit leadership — fields where you show up for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Through all of it, one thing stayed constant: how you make someone feel matters more than anything else you do.

When we started Arion, we didn't set out to build a transportation company. We set out to build a company that treats every single person who walks through our doors — or into one of our vehicles — like they genuinely matter. Because they do.

Jim Becker, our Director of Operations, spent two decades in luxury transportation before joining Christal to help bring her vision to life. A Navy veteran, he handles the day-to-day — driver training, safety standards, client experience — so Christal can focus on the bigger picture. He wrote our chauffeur handbook from scratch because he believes our drivers deserve real training and our clients deserve real professionals behind the wheel.

Together, we're a small team on purpose. We answer our own phones. We remember your kids' names, your favorite airport pickup spot, and that you prefer sparkling over still. We're not trying to compete with the big dispatch services. We're building something different — a company where being small is the whole point, because it means we never lose sight of the person in the back seat.

Arion was founded by Christal Becker — a woman who spent three decades in care-focused work before building a luxury transportation company from the ground up. That background isn't incidental. It's the reason every detail of our service, from driver training to the champagne in the back seat, is designed around how the person in our care actually feels.

We're certified as a women-owned business and we wear that proudly. In an industry dominated by corporate dispatch operations, being small and women-led is our edge — not something we're trying to outgrow. It means every client relationship matters to us personally, every chauffeur is someone we've trained ourselves, and every phone call is answered by someone who actually knows your name.

We could be bigger. We've had opportunities to scale into a fleet of 50 vehicles and a call center. We said no — on purpose.

Being boutique means we keep an 86% repeat client rate because people aren't a number in our system. It means Jim still personally trains every chauffeur. It means Christal still reviews every piece of client feedback.
