Devil's Backbone, Boyd Lake and the Ridge

Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL)
FNL sits between Loveland and Fort Collins just west of I-25, with an 8,500-foot main runway. There is no scheduled airline service — Avelo tried it and left in 2022 — so in practice FNL is a private and charter field, and a good one. If your group flies private into Northern Colorado, this is where you land, and you are on the ground twenty minutes from either downtown instead of an hour and change from DEN.
