Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center sits at 6700 N Gaylord Rockies Blvd in Aurora — about 5 miles from DIA. The drive takes 10 minutes. But here's what guests don't realize until they land: there's no hotel shuttle, rideshares queue outside terminal doors in a congested pickup lane, and the rental car bus takes 15 minutes each way.
We meet you at baggage claim with a name sign, handle your luggage, and have you at the resort entrance in 10 minutes flat. For a 1,501-room resort that hosts conventions drawing thousands of attendees, the arrival experience should be better than standing in a rideshare line. We make sure it is.

Gaylord Rockies has 486,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. It hosts some of Denver's largest conferences, trade shows, and corporate events. The resort is self-contained — restaurants, spa, water park — but it's also 25 miles from downtown Denver.
For attendees who want to explore Denver during the evening, or who have off-site meetings and dinners, we provide on-demand transportation:

It's close to DIA — but isolated from Denver
The resort is 10 minutes from DIA but 25+ minutes from downtown Denver. Many first-time guests don't realize how far it is from restaurants, nightlife, and attractions. If you want to explore Denver during your conference, you need transportation — the resort isn't walkable to anything.
The Peña Blvd factor
Peña Boulevard is the only road connecting DIA to the rest of Denver. During peak flight arrival times (late afternoon, early evening), it backs up. We know the timing patterns and adjust departure windows to avoid the worst of it.
E-470 vs. I-70
Going downtown from Gaylord Rockies, you have two options: E-470 to I-25 (toll road, faster, ~25 min) or I-70 west (free, heavier traffic, ~30-35 min). We default to E-470 for the better experience — tolls are included in your service, not an add-on.

About 25 miles, roughly 25-30 minutes depending on traffic. The resort is near the airport, not near downtown — a common misconception for first-time visitors.
Do you provide convention group transportation?
Yes. We coordinate multi-vehicle airport arrivals, daily off-site shuttles, dinner transportation, and coordinated departures for convention groups of any size.
Can you take us from Gaylord Rockies to Red Rocks?
Absolutely. Red Rocks is about 45 minutes from the resort. We provide round-trip concert transportation including post-show pickup.
